Hello from Peachland.

Not  too much new to report since my last message a year ago.

My life continues to revolve around outdoor activities.  I am still very involved with the cross county ski area nearby and this summer helped create the foundation for our new 40'x40' grooming shed.  This was a new learning experience for me.  I am currently creating an 8 km snowshoe trail that I think is going to be pretty spectacular.  Carolyn and I will re-new our season's passes to Big White and Silver Star for downhill.

Carolyn is into her second year as manager of the Canadian Blood Services clinic in Kelowna.  It's only three days a week but does keep her busy - some days far more than she probably would like.

Jeff and Nancy are both back teaching full - time.  Our beautiful grandaughter - Gabriella - has started day care almost exactly on her first birthday.  She is at one of the best day-care facilities in Calgary but we all know the challenges of balancing full time work and young kids.  They visited with us for 2 weeks during the summer and we usually see them every 2-3 months.

Rob transferred to Flagstaff AZ from Phoenix last December with Walgreen's pharmacy.  The town offers much  more interesting geography and a four season's climate with many outdoors activities available year-round.  He passed all of his Cdn pharmacy requirement exams last November and is now able to work in Canada any time in the future. He is still up in the air as far as when that will be.

Please check out the pictures for the last year if you get a chance.

All the best,

Larry  (Sept 8, 2006)
